It's a non competitive race open to everyone on the last 10 km of the Venicemarathon race course. The start is from the Exposport – San Giuliano Park in Mestre, Porta Blu, and the finish line is in Venice in Riva Sette Martiri right where the Venicemarathon finishes. The race course is one of the nicest and most picturesque tracks in the world, thanks to the unique bridge on the Grand Canal built for the race, the marvelous lap in St Mark's Sq. and the finish line between people cheering them on in Riva Sette Martiri.

The exact start time will be decided the day before the race, according to operational needs and TV broadcasting needs.

Bib number pick up
The race packet with the bib number and the official t-shirt could be picked up on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October at the Exposport – Porta Blu – inside San Giuliano Park in Venice – Mestre from 10am to 8pm.
Before the race, there will be a free shuttle service to reach the start line, reserved to participants only. Shuttles will leave from: Venezia Mestre (railway station) from 7:00am to 7:20am (last bus). Athletes will be asked to show their bib number to board the bus. Should you go to the start by your own car, remember that the area could be busy and difficult to park your car, try to be there early. Your car can be parked in San Giuliano Park – parking area close to the Porta Rossa (Red Entrance), at Russott Hotel or in the wide parking area of Forte Marghera.
Personal kit bag transportation
A special service will be organized for the transportation of all bags containing participants' personal belongings from the start line to the finish line in Venice (Riva dei Sette Martiri).
Athletes will be allowed to use the kit bags provided by the organization only (they will be distributed with the bibs) and can be used only to carry few clothes to get changed after the race. A special adhesive numbered sticker (also given out by the organization with the bib) must be fixed to the front of the kit bag.
For practical reasons, all bags will have to be handed in to the volunteers by 7:50 am. Latecomers can hand out their kit bags at the Exposport and get them back always at the Exposport after returning from the finish line or runners can hand out their kit bags on Saturday 22th from 9am to 6pm directly in Riva Sette Martiri in Venice near the finish line.
The organizing committee will take extreme care in the collection, handling and delivery of all bags, but declines any responsibility for lost items and will not offer any refund.
The Timing Data Service chip is attached to the bib number and it will record the net time of the race. Do not remove it, no chip no time! The timing chip is disposable therefore it doesn’t need to be given back.
The time limit to complete the race is 1h45', after this limit athletes on the race course will be kindly invited to leave the track.
The Finish area
The finish line is in Riva Sette Martiri. After the finish line you will be “processed” through the system: You will receive a medal You can collect your kit bag with your personal belongings Further on along Riva Sette Martiri you find the post finish line area reserved to 10KM participants, here you will find: The final refreshment station
The covered changing areas
A thorough medical assistance service will be offered by the organizing committee in collaboration with local medical facilities.
To go back to the mainland from the finish line there are free services for athletes.
- Motorboats from Venezia Giardini to Venezia Tronchetto will be at athletes’ disposal from 9.40pm to 11.00am.
- Bus shuttle service will take you afterwards from Venezia Tronchetto to the railway station in Mestre, to the Forte Marghera car park and to San Giuliano Park – start area.
